Mission

The House of Neverland was founded in early 2025 in response to things we were hearing here in Montana so we decided to bring change and to create a space where people in our communities could find safe space to explore leather, BDSM and find a community that would stand with each other and help through education, activisim and representation. Our mission is to continue to work within our communities here in Montana and even recently outside the borders of our state in an effort to provide education and support to those who wish it. We work closely with several groups here in Montana to futher that goal and make it a priority to show up and show out when and where we can.

While we have the word “House” in our title we are not, nor do we observe the restrictions of a single place of operation nor do we allow ourselves to be hemmed in by walls either real or imagined. Instead we focus on making those communities we work within and with our “house” whether that be for a brief 15 minute conversation or a weekend retreat. The communities where we can be found vary greatly as members of our house come from a wide and varied background that ranges from education with a couple of our members currently chasing advanced degrees to drag where we also have members of the house who are involved with the local court system of drag the ISCSM.

Allyship is also our mission in those communities we find ourselves in, namely the Transgender and Nonbinary communities and is something that we take very seriously and hold close to our hearts as several of our members are members of those communities. We believe in standing beside our brother, sisters and they/thems and showing a unified front and we again will show up and show out when and where we can at events such as Trans Day of Visability.

We were indeed founded by a Leatherman and the ideas behind our house are founded on the 3 Pillars of that community which are Philanthropy, Brotherhood and Education. This means that inclusivity is a very important tennent of the house and something we always try to make abundantly clear when we are out in our communities. We are not a “Gay Leather” house, while we are indeed founded on the principals often associated with Gay Leather and we do identify as a Lather house, we are open to anyone who has a genuine interest in leather and by association kink. Some folks have called us a Queer Leather House and we find that to be very fitting as we strive to provide community to the greater queer community whether gay, lesbian. trans, Bi, non-binary and all of the other communities that fall under the banner of queer and while we have no straight members we are very much open to working with both individuals and groups from that sector.

In Closing

Our mission is to provide a safe space for our community to come together and grow and flourish under the banners of Leather and BDSM through education, allyship and outreach and activism.
